You are in control, on-demand invincible!

'Unwinding in between meetings, I like to listen to mobile podcasts. While nearly all wireless carriers offer a way to get them, I have recently fallen in love with the free VoiceIndigo application that comes preloaded onto Samsung's UpStage music phone from Sprint Nextel. Besides good sound quality and stellar content, such as programs from National Public Radio and The Onion, the software offers interactive features. I can send a podcast to a friend by typing in a phone number. Or I can text or call podcast creators directly...' - Business Week, May 2007

Listener Bill of Rights

VoiceIndigo was developed with the following listener bill of rights in mind:

  1. Open Access: You have the right to access all legal audio content available on the internet without being restricted by a third party to least common denominator fluff. You are unique, and no one should be able to tell you what you can and cannot listen to (assuming that the publisher of the content consents via their licensing policies).
  2. Personalization: Great. Now you are in control. Access to all existing podcasts is a beautiful thing, but will you want to sift through hours and hours of noise to find content that is relevant to you? We eliminate this problem by enabling you to harness the power of your community to find content that is inspirational, educational, and informative...to you.
  3. Convenience: Your content is managed in the network. This means that where ever you and whatever devices you have, you should have access to it. Mobile phone, iPod, media center, whatever...it is there for you.
  4. Simplicity: It should not take a rocket scientist or even a hobbyist to get content to their mobile phone. We make it as easy as a few clicks. My mother can even do it.
  5. Free: We make it free (i.e. you as a listener do not pay us money to use the service). Free is good.
